🔐 Authentication
The Authentication View is where you choose how you want to use DrumBuddy:
with a cloud-synced account, or in offline guest mode.
From here you can log in, register a new account, reset your password,
or jump straight into offline mode without signing in.
(This view is typically shown right after launch — you can always return to it by logging out.)
Log In
Use this option if you already have a DrumBuddy account.
You can: - Enter your email and password to access your account - Automatically load your cloud-synced sheets and configuration - Keep your data synced across devices
After successful login: - Your previously saved drum sheets and configuration presets are fetched from the cloud - Any changes you make are automatically synced back
Register (Create Account)
If you’re new to DrumBuddy, you can create an account directly from the Authentication View.
During registration you will: - Provide a valid email address - Choose a password - Confirm your password
Once registered: - A new cloud profile is created for you - Future sheets and configuration changes are synced to your account - You can log in with the same credentials on other devices to access your data
Forgot Password
If you can’t remember your password, use the Forgot Password option.
The flow:
1. Click the “Forgot password?” link beneath the login form
2. Enter the email associated with your account
3. Check your inbox for a password reset email
4. Follow the link in the email to set a new password
After resetting your password, you can return to DrumBuddy and log in with your new credentials.
Offline Mode (Guest)
Don’t want to log in right now? You can continue as a guest in offline mode.
When you choose offline mode: - No account is required - You can still: - Configure your input settings - Play and create drum patterns locally
However, offline mode comes with some limitations: - ❌ Sheets are not synced to the cloud - ❌ Configuration is stored only locally on this device
